Love/Hate

I've exhausted myself on analysis, so today I will do a Love/Hate post with no real direction.

Love. Totally productive vandalism.

Tag on arrow? Unproductive. Hula Hoop sticker over walker? Productive.

Hate. Unnecessarily legal language in employment agreements for being offered equity which should be totally flattering, but is giving me tax-implication-panic-attacks and concern that they are actually asking me to give over my first born... which will disappoint them, but is still totally unreasonable of them to ask.

Love. These socks. Seriously. How awesome are they?
You're so distracted by my socks, you don't notice my filthy kitchen floor, right?
Hate. Pictures of people's feet taken from above. Seriously. Can we be done with that yet? (I get the paradox of hating what I just posted. I'm dynamic like that...and single... so my other option was a picture in the mirror which I hate a little more than this.)

Love. Fall. Fall clothes. Fall food (soup!).

Hate. The end of summer. Wearing socks (except the above). The end of seasonal local fruits.

Love. Ridiculous art at the County Fair.

Hate. That these are not my cats, or my art, and that no one on Facebook has offered to paint my cats' portraits even though I told them I'd pay them.

Love. Love.

Hate. That fine line between the beginning of something awesome and the end of what wasn't quite, but maybe could have... And the anticipation of that end. Buddha would tell me to let go of my attachments.

Love. Buddha.
I don't like to brag.
Hate.  Monkey mind.

Love. Cookies. And cookies. And weddings.
Beautiful bride to be.
... and Palm Springs.

....and best friends.

.... and nieces and nephews... even the ones my sister didn't make... but my sister's are pretty amazing.
2008.
... and probably you since I invited you to read this and you did,  and also because writing it reminded me that there's more to today than what I gave it credit for about an hour ago.

Loves win.
