It goes "ding" when there's stuff

When the 10th Doctor gets super excited about something I want to hump his leg. I don't know why someone else's excitement gets me going, but it does. WC talking about Tough Mudder? I want him to not run through fields of live electrical wires, but he gets so excited that all I can say is "RUN, MY FRIEND! RUN!"

So here's what I'm excited about in no particular order:


1. It was nearly 70 degrees today. In honor of those degrees I stayed inside all day and didn't come out until 5:30 and then I went shopping inside to buy new running shoes and instead of running outside in those running shoes I spent the rest of my daylight hours in the car on the way home. But I'm so excited for real spring weather!!

2. My new running shoes. They're purple. I love them. See?

3. Doctor Who is back on March 30th and I'm really excited. I must understand Ms Clara Oswin Oswald and her 9 lives. And also, I hope for more dinosaurs. It goes "ding" when there's stuff.

4. David Sedaris has a new book coming out in April. I like to get them on audiobook and let him tell me the stories himself and sometimes I laugh so hard while I'm driving that I slap me knee. Not kidding. I will slapping my fucking knee like an old man.

5. Iron Man 3. Is it possible I've lost it? A comic book movie AND a Sci-Fi TV Show are in my top 10 things I'm most excited about? It's real. It's happening. I own this new love. No, I still do not own a single comic book. I go where the wind blows me. (Heh... blows me.)

6. I'm going to Santa Barbara in a few weeks to celebrate the gestation of a baby boy. Then I'm going to Seattle to celebrate my mom's wonderful 65 years of life. Somewhere before that I might sneak away to celebrate myself.

7. Every month Amazon.com sells a bunch of albums for $5.00. I pick up 2-3 every month (hell yes, Journey's greatest hits). 

8. See #7. This month I picked up Jack White's "Blunderbuss" and I'm totally 1000% obsessed with this song since about 3 hours ago:

I'm not really sure I understand what it means, but I've decided it's my new Theme Song. Remember when Ally McBeal had a theme song? Well this is that except WAAAY less want-to-punch-that-whiney-bitch-in-the-face. 

9. My new couch is being delivered next Wednesday. This would be higher on the disorganized list except I suffer from buyer's remorse for things I can't possess immediately. So once it's delivered I should be okay, but that's only if it fits in my elevator to be delivered.
