B+

Seattle Public Library
I went to Seattle with my mom, sister, aunt, and my mom's best friend from High School and her 82 year old mother. It was a notable trip for a few reasons:

1. My mom turned 65 this year and this was how she wanted to celebrate. 65 isn't as old as I used to think it was. Also, my mom is awesome, but I already knew that.

2. I didn't take a single anti-anxiety med the whole time. I tend to pre-medicate when I'm about to enter a situation that causes me anxiety (flying, sleeping, waking, etc.) but decided that this trip I wouldn't take anything until I was actually having panic. Which was neat since I never did. I went on the ferris wheel (hello, confined space), the space needle (see also elevator and confined space), and we walked the city for miles.
Hello Dorky, my old friend...
3. While I didn't overpack, I managed to not forget any necessities... like a toothbrush. When I went to Santa Barbara in March I really did try to brush my teeth with the eyebrow brush in my make-up kit because I really didn't want to go to the store that first night. The business trip prior I forgot deodorant. This time I certainly could have used another sweater, but I technically had everything I needed.
The only thing truly  missing from my trip was sleep. I can sleep anywhere... airplanes, airports, the car, the office (shhh), your couch, my couch, yoga class... But the room my sister and I shared in this adorable B&B in Seattle was lit up with sunshine (or cloud-shine) by 4:45 a.m. every morning due to an unshaded skylight. I did NOT sleep well this weekend.

I crashed for far too long on the airplane ride home yesterday so I couldn't get to sleep last night so today I was operating on 4 nights in a row of crappy sleep. About 5:45 this evening I grabbed my gym bag from the car and went to change clothes for a run when it became clear I had possibly lost my mind. I forgot to wear a bra today.

A bra.

Who forgets to wear a bra?

That's like forgetting to wear shoes. Not the right shoes... I forget to wear the right shoes all the time, but I always wear shoes. And I didn't notice until I was taking my dress off to change into my running gear. I was standing in the bathroom in my slip thinking "Why did I slip my bra out of my dress arms instead of just taking it off in the right order? Wait... I didn't do that. Double wait... did I forget to wear a bra today?"

I suddenly panicked that my nipples had been showing all day or that I had just had a stroke or something because I do NOT forget a bra. I put my dress back on to see how obvious it might have been in my 7+ hours of meetings today and luckily the shape of the dress coupled with the fact that I have to wear a slip with it so it doesn't show my bra/unders (irony) I was pretty well covered. Plus I did wear a cardigan all day, but not buttoned.

I really don't understand how I didn't notice. I'm not a large girl, but I like to think of myself as a B+ which isn't small enough to forget you have boobs, right?
So anyway, that happened.
